Last night finally got out to the shop to do some fundamental skills practice.
Punching circles, punching slots. slitting etc...
It was nice to just mangle a piece of steel to practice specific tasks.
I am working on a pair of tongs and I want to do it all by hot work.
I have been cheating and drilling most of my holes.
Now that I know the trick it is going much easier.
