First Day of School.
First day of a new academic year... and it was a busy one! After sitting through a couple of my classes, it dawned upon me that based on my clever selection of modules, I'm going to be in for a really rough semester. Again. I never learn. Heh.
Today it felt a little strange... thank goodness for Almond, Queenie & Snoozy... I felt a little lost and out of place... mainly because my baby left today for a short working trip. Thank goodness he'll only be gone for three (long) days. It's the first time he's been away since we got together, and I kept wondering what he'd be up to as I sat in class. I also kept on imagining that I'd see this smiley face waiting for me outside the library, or hear this familar voice go "hey-hey!" coming up from behind me. I miss you, baby!!!!!
Had lunch with my faculty mates... and then I suddenly realised I'll never be having lunch in school with my favourite Engineering Jedi anymore... he's heading off to greater heights now (woo-hoo!!!)... haha... what an awesome one year we've shared though.
This reminds me of my first year in university, when I would hang around with Big Bro and study in the library with him (well, he'd fall asleep mostly or play with my Palmtop). And then he graduated, and I moved into second year, and in that year there was Paris, and I always had such a good laugh during the times we met. Now that I'm in my final year... there's no one left! Haha... which is why I really treasure the other night when we all met up and the time we spent at that cosy corner in Villa Bali. I always feel so comfortable with you guys.... you guys are the best!!!
Thank goodness tomorrow is National Day... the first day of school was damn tiring! *yawn*
