A wenching we will go...
Didn't sell nearly as much as I had hoped at Ishpembing Ren Fest yesterday. And I STILL didn't win a costume contest (but my new dress IS kick-butt!). I did however make up for it by once again being dubbed "Best Wench" and winning $50! Best Wench for the second time...I could get used to this. :)
It was o.k. as far as our group goes. I felt I had just tired myself out before we even got there and didn't have the energy to do everything I usually do. Only played games with the kids once and only danced once. BUT there is a huge possibility of retaining many of our memebers and so we won't have to start from scratch again next year! Yippie!
Plus, the coordinators came over to the booth to specifically give us $100 as a way of thanking our group for being so wonderful. I was flaberghasted because I thought we were a little timid this year. Apparantly spinning wool and making candles can make up for a lack of dancing (we only danced once)!
I am pleased to say that Nick and Dan made a good ammount of money, which I am ever thankful for because they are amazing artists.
