In a galaxy far, far away...

Interesting...

"The survival of the human race depends on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe because there's an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy the Earth, world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking said Tuesday...

..."It is important for the human race to spread out into space for the survival of the species," Hawking said. "Life on Earth is at the ever-increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster, such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus or other dangers we have not yet thought of.' "

Well, there you have it folks! Pack up the x-wings and grab your light sabers!

In other news, I've returned from a galaxy far, far away...or so it seems. I thought life before the wedding would be crazy, but it's even more crazy AFTER. I just finally went to get my name changed yesterday. So sad to get a new licence- my driver's licence was the last photo in existence (that I know of) that shows me with my dreads. And I'm just now getting around to checking e-mails and writing thank you cards.

Married life is moving right along. Trying to fit everything into our apartment. Still on the hunt for the perfect quilt for the bedroom (Ahhhh, big beds!) and we're expecting our first baby soon. Yup, that's right, we're getting a puppy! Yay :)
