It's Tuesday, there must be new books available. Long ago someone in publishing marketing decided that Tuesday is release day. Why? I don't know. But it's become tradition. So, over at the Book View Cafe we have a new book release.
And I'm involved! Yes that is my name as second chair editor. And I have two -- count 'em -- two short stories in the collection. They are both humorous and pretty much exhaust my funny writing.
"Li'l Red in the Hood" first appeared in the DAW anthology "Little Red Riding Hood in the Big Bad City" ed by Martin H. Greenberg & John Helfers, DAW, 2004. It's just one of those silly things that required parody.
Then there's "Of Rats and Cats and Teenagers," first published on the Book View Cafe and available there on my free bookshelf. It's one of those silly little things that had been sitting on my floppy discs for ages, migrated to a CD and then to a flash drive. Every editor I sent it to laughed out loud as they rejected it. Now it has a home. I think it belongs in this weird collection.
Check it out.
