No, in this case, the prankster is my giant western red cedar tree. In yesterday's onslaught of rain and wind, Mr. Tree dropped ALL of his tailings, the frond ends that had turned orange and needed to go to make room for new growth next spring.
I keep telling myself it's good mulch.
