here are some pictures of my little niece! oh, I can't wait to hold her. One more week.
She was born on Thurs. weighing 8lbs 5oz. My poor sister had to have a c-section because the baby's heart rate would drop everytime she had contractions. The baby is doing great, thank God. My mom said they've been coming in at all hours of the night to give her shots, check her eyes, and all of this other stuff I had no clue went on. Poor Jen is sore. She said she felt like Quasimodo because both her belly and also, from an allergic reaction to the pain medicine, her eyes were swollen.
They'll be going home on Sunday.
My life right now has been one big waiting period for Univ. of Dallas to respond. I also have been taking care of my older brother's needs while my mom is gone, gardening, and some painting. I've decided I like to cook. I got this great recipe from Ciao Italia website. Wow, it is good. red win, black olives, lemon juice and zest, thyme, sage, nutmeg...oh heavenly hash. good stuff.
