A blanket of snow has descended over Scotland.
On the plus side, ive had 3 snow days so far.
On the negative side: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS FUCKING SNOW HAS BLOCKED ALL ROADS, AND LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW I GET FUCKING PARANOID THAT EVERYTHING'LL CEASE TO EXIST, AS ALL I CAN SEE IS WHITE WHTE WHITE, AND I CAN'T BREATHE...
But other than that, y'know, its okay.
(Pardon me if i sound bipolar. I'm not, it's just my Drumchapel upbringing).
A beret, wooly scarf, black trenchcoat and fingerless gloves are all a step in the right direction for my "Parisian Homeless Chic" look this A/W '10 (copyright ramblesociety).

Just took some time from writing to think about winter:
Christmas is a time of hope, but the gloomy weather, miserable outlook, and perpetual chilliness goes against that. The suicidal weather pretty much puts you in a despairing mood from November through March, Joy Division seem to be more prominent on your life's soundtrack, and the Christmas party season turns into hermit season. Its peaceful..because people are too depressed to go outside. The little hope left in peoples heart goes to the belief that spring MUST come around soon, right? Not soon enough.
But I've been excited for winter since September. Talk of Christmas, and excitement to dig out the old beret, and anticipation of evidence from Louis Vuitton's ladylike collection...Staying in watching Mad Men infront of the fire...Glasgow at night, friends singing Christmas songs (Shakin' Stevens will NEVER get old!)...
I love winter.
Who cares if the Dec/Jan/Feb brutality will kill us? Go out in style!
