Crapping it about: My Highers.
Anyone thats reading this crackheaded blog will know that I have a lot of obsessions.
One of them is the space race (a race between Russia/USSR and the US to send a man into space, incase your Cold War history needed a little brushing up!). Im fascinated with it, yet the idea of space kind of creeps me out, too... So I forgot about the obsession.
But after listening to Mat Devine's masterpiece "Laika" over, and over (about the dog that the Russians sent into the universe, but never came back. Obviously, how the hell do they expect a DOG to be able to get itself back down to Earth? Plus there was that atmospheric problem...), and the obsession is back ON. Hello, Neil Armstrong, Hello David Bowie.
(Also, if I get a dog, I'm calling him/her Laika. I don't even know what sex the name is :/ ).
Lots of homework.. I'm guessing that I won't do well this year...
Might have to work hard :o

I think I've mentioned something about Glasgow being my favourite city... And I have't been in for a month, or more...
So super-jazzed (I use that word, as I currently can't come up for another for "excited". I use it too much.) about going with an old friend and seeing Scott Pilgrim...
Plus to complete my Hallowe'en costume! Miles early...
So I'm psyched about that. (Ooh, new word. Taken from the title of my fave tv show - Psych !!)
