Why didn’t they start freaking out when the one wondered off like, “LOL gonna raise Black Hand and end the universe, hope you guys don’t mind.” Seems like that would have caused quite a stir… I guess because they were kind of in denial? That’s what it seemed like to me, but I’m not really sure…

Rambly Interlude Go: I’m actually pretty conflicted on the subject of him coming back. I mean, pro - more Vic. Con - negating one of the most well-written death scenes I’ve ever read as well as the entire dichotomous relationship of Renee and Vic’s storyline in 52. Renee is learning how to live happily. Vic is, in some ways, learning how to die peacefully. THAT SEEMS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME. IDK WHY. Also, future readers won’t get the same emotional reaction out of the story if they know Vic came back a few years later.
