Easter craziness
Well Easter is here and I really realize that it should just be a religious holiday; cuz all the dinners, candy and other stuff just seemst tacked on... I mean, honestly, I look back at my childhood and think "Well Santa Claus was at least plausable, but a giant rabbit that delivers candy on the anniversary of the resurection of Jesus? That's just bizarre!" Sorry for the random rant...this is what happens to you when you go to a Presbyterian college...(especially when you're a Catholic). Lol
Anyway, today we are having dinner at my house; luckily my father bought extra booze to numb the whole ordeal. My aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents all in my house at once are often a little more than I (or the rest of my family can handle...). It seems that this happens every holiday; and yet my mother decides to host these events every time! She never learns her lesson! Everyone gets frustrated, crabby and angry! Ah, thank God for these little memories! lol
Grad School Update: I got my financial aid info from U of M and they were VERY generous...its kind of ludicrous. As for CMU, I am hopefully getting the info on Monday; my contact there said they are negotiating and putting the "finishing touches" on their offer. However, the guy I interviewed with (David Boevers) said not to take the first offer...I feel like i'm being auctioned off!
I am looking forward to getting back to school tomorrow; things here get a little to boring/repetitive for my taste! I want to get back to Theta Chi, my crazy roommate, theatre shat and of course my new favorite hobby: pottery! That's right! I am taking wheel throw ceramics and hand-building ceramics this semester! I have so many freakin' coffee mugs its not even funny! Who wants one?
Anyway, I'll write again soon (considering this post was SO exciting! lol)

P.S. Random Hurons Thoughts: "Tea Staining", Bob Allen asking "what the hell is an 'Ado Annie'?", Matt Dennis stealing the "Super Happy Trophy", people cheating and giving all their "super happy stickers" to Colleen (and people being pissed about it)
