Fandoms: Murder in Suburbia / Waking the Dead
Pairings: Ash/Scribbs & Eve/Stella
A/N: In an attempt to cure my writer's block I started writing this little piece of crossover fluff. I've no idea if it'll go anywhere but I kind of like the idea of these two very different shows existing in the same universe.

I don't watch 'Waking the dead' but I am loving this! Scribbs is so adorably Scribbs:

Scribbs tried smiling her way out of trouble but even the less volatile members of the other team appeared ready to commit bodily harm.

I think Scribbs could smile her way out of anything.

I can't wait until they see one of Scribbs' infamous crime scene reconstructions. Barbie & Ken, anyone?

Oh God, yes! There has to be a reconstruction. I can just imagine Boyd's face *g*

[all you need to know about Waking the Dead is that Boyd shouts a LOT and Stella and Eve have a little subtext of their own brewing - in my mind at least]

Yay! finally someone to stand up to Boyd (I can't stand him), though I'm a little surprised he actually let Ash finish a whole sentence :)

Loved it... can't wait for the rest.

I'm sure Boyd won't let Ash have the upper hand for long. She just managed to catch him unawares.

Oh, I do hope your muses keep working on this one.

I've only seen one episode of Waking the Dead, but almost everything about it irritated me, so injecting a touch of Ash and Scribbs into their world has got to be a good thing. :-)

I must admit to really liking 'Waking the Dead' but it does need a good dose of light-hearted injected into it now and then. And you can't get more light-hearted in the crime field than Ash and Scribbs.

Ha! Ash standing up to Boyd ranks up there as one of the quickest means of suicide I know *bg*. Great characterization, esp. Boyd and Grace. Can't wait to read more of this. Now if you'd just set it back with Frankie and Mel still about and it would have been perfect *L*

As much as I loved Mel and Frankie, they didn't exactly shout subtext, whereas Eve and Stella have definitely rung that particular bell. Even if only for me.
