if you were to create something. say a drawing, a poem, form an idea. you would start out with what? ideally would be a blank sheet of paper.
what do you consider as immortally wrong or right? are there beliefs you have now that you never considered to be wrong?
you must at least one point in your life weigh everything you believe in. tell yourself that you know nothing, then start from that point to decide what you think the truths are. how can you possibly advance or become a better person if there are parts of your being you have never considered the possibilty of being wrong. compare what a incorrect idea in your head would do to your life as an incorrect way of computing a math problem to an answer. once the factor is worked in, and it is assumed your variables are correct, you assume your answer is also.
an easy example is god. most people question to themselves wether or not they believe or do not. there are also those who never question in him, and those who never believed in him. in the same sense, everyone has parts of their own mind and beliefs they have never questioned and also never believed in. if you feel something is holding you back all you have to do is clear your mind. dont hold bias against everything, because truth is no one knows anything for sure, there is always doubt even if it doesnt exist in your mind. there are things you hold true that aren't.
some things you would be shocked to think of wether they are wrong or right. murder, rape, theft, lies. allow yourself to think for one second that they could possibly be ok things. it sounds like a horrible thing to do, but you dont realize what is wrong about them until you know what is like to think they are ok.
i know some things in your own life you have never questioned. maybe not general things like murder, but more subtle things you dont realize you have always been against or for. maybe you think you have great parents or vice or versa and never thought otherwise. maybe you think racism is terrible or hate everyone not what you are. maybe you think that this world is not fit to live in or that everyday is something new and wonderful. just remember that no one knows what is right and for you to always think one way on anything, when life encompasses so much, you are only holding yourself back. just try it. the only thing to be scared of is that you will never think the same way again. i dont see the harm in that.
one day all that is, will be no more, and everything you know and love, will be gone.
i think humans with religion are so stuck on the advancement of our species that we cannot see what is inevitable and will come. sort of in the same sense as the matrix - machines will take over, or more advanced life forms, but minus the happy ending with them living together. we need to accept the fact that there are things more beautiful and powerful then ourselves even if they have not come to be yet. when they do, they will in every sense however be our masters. we will be either exploited or annihilated, but our main function in this turn of time will be over. we cannot stop its coming, we can only do our part to make the day come sooner. we are all working and competing to bring our destruction. winner takes .....
i want to see inside of someone again.
