(no subject)
So I've been wanting to update for a while, but haven't had time or have been just too damned lazy to out in the effort. Either way, I'm doing it now. I'm all moved in and happily back in Oakville. Its been really good so far. This first week I was here was basically just spent drinking and hanging out with Erin, my roommate and sometimes friend. lol. We also went to the gym or swimming regularly so it was good. School finally started and I was kinda worried. I hadn't done a full face in.. like forever. I was worried, but my first application that I thought was only just ok, my teacher really liked, she only had one thing I should add. I was happy. My classes are good so far, sex class is actually really interesting. I'm looking forward to it. I'm also really looking forward to my theatre make up class, though I'm scared too cause its where you get to be really creative and I'm well, not. So we'll see how that goes. So school is good, not too intense yet though I just had my first full week so we'll see how long that lasts. I'm starting to hang out more with people this year. Erin and I are close... we live together, we don't have much of a choice. But I've been hanging out with Bobbie a lot lately. I really like her and because of hanging out with her, I get to hang out with Stacey and Cleo too, her roommates who are also in our program. I've also been hanging out with Meghan lots, she's fun, definitely a good person and she's from far away too so we kinda have something in common. Kat, Julia and Bailey have been over lots too so that's fun. Kinda sucks that I'm getting closer to all these great people then we'll all be leaving again for good after this year. Its kinda sad, but I'll just keep thinking about now. We've gone to pub 2 weeks in a row. First was ok, but I didn't get that hammered, but I made up for it the second week. CRAZY night that was. The social scene has been ok, I went on a date last night that was very short. We went out for a beer then he took me home, it was really awkward though, we didn't talk well together. Kinda sucks cause he was cute and pretty nice, but just wasn't a good date. All my dates lately have been really crappy. I've either been really nervous or shy or the guy can't hold a conversation and it just doesn't work. It's getting really frustrating. I guess for every amazing date you have, you have to have like 10 crappy ones and that sucks. Guess it'll be a while before I have another good one. In all honesty though, that's kinda ok, because this year I want to focus on school and myself, last year I cared way too much about guys and it messed me up. School is going to be a lot of work this year and I need to keep focused or I'll get behind. Oh and we've been going to the gym on a regular basis which is awesome, I feel so good doing it. Speaking of which, Erin and I are going there tomorrow. She doesn't think Sunday is a day you should work out on, but we didn't go today so we have to. Hmm... what else has been going on. Nothing else too exciting. I'm just loving this year so far and all the people I get to share it with on a daily basis. But thats is not to say that I don't miss the CP crew. You guys are my home. :D Ok... I think that's all for now.
