This is how a heart breaks.

So I haven't updated in almost a week.  I do have an almost good excuse.  I get my internet from my cable company, right?  And my cable has been coming on and off all week.  Meaning my internet has been coming on and off all week.  Pissing me off to no end.  *sigh*  I think it's all better now though.  Anyways, here's the recap.

On thursday I worked.  My whole LiveJournal is basically about the marina.  How sad is that.  I was supposed to have a ballet/conditioning class, but Amber was sick so it was canceled.  I didn't have much to do, so I just did odd jobs.  Sweeping, filing, vacuuming, windexing stuff, etc.  Garrett and I did finish a boat, but that was it.  I think.  It was thursday, and that was a long time ago.

Friday I went to Kennebunk/Kennebunkport with my mom and grandmother.  Advice: don't expect much when you go up there.  It's nice and everything, just gift shops and stuff.  In all, I bought a pack of batteries and two birthday cards.  Oh, and an ice cream.  Can't forget the ice cream.  It was really good too.  Apple-y Ever After it was called.  Like apple pie.  I don't know, banana cream pie might have some competition..  I got home and napped.

Saturday.. what did I do saturday?  Oh!  Alicia and Nikki threw a surprise party for Alissa, so I went there.  I had the best time.  When Alissa got there there was only like 8 people to yell surprise, haha.  More people showed up later though, so it was okay.  I believe this is who was there: me, Alicia, Nikki, Vanessa, Jess, Nate, Sam, Troy, Travis, Steve, Eben, Janessa, Danielle, Jared, Ian, Zach (Raymonders), Alissa, Iman, Jenna, Marissa.  Matt W. and Matt Coffee showed up around 10ish.  We had a lovely time swimming.  Ian kept comparing us to Raymond people, and was convinced I looked like Justine Foster.  No one else except them thought that.  There was a cake fight, which I avoided.  Four people used my towel while I was in the pool, soaking it.  I believe Eben got cake on it too.  Troy and TJ built a fire.  It was huuuuge.  Then they jumped through it.  What a bunch of cool kids.  I saw a firefly and was going to get it, and Troy caught it and handed it to me.  I was pretty excited because I had never caught one before.  Nikki and I then gave massages/back scratches.  A bunch of us piled onto my blanket and just chilled there for a bit.

Eventually everyone left, and it was only me, Iman, Marissa, Alicia, Nikki, Jenna, Alissa, and the Matts.  We set out our stuff.  We played the winking game and the killing game where you shake hands and the one you whisper in each others ear.  We played telephone too.  I was then taught how to play suck and blow.  We played that for at least an hour.  Apparently I'm super good at it.  Nikki, Matt W., me, and Jenna had it really good in our circle.  When it came to us it would be good, and then not so good.  Eventually everyone got it, except Alicia.  She was kind of bad at it.  Nikki and I did it two person, back and forth, sixteen times until one of us started laughing.  Then somebody suggested going outside.  A few did, and then a few more, and finally I went out.  I found Alicia and Marissa in the pool.  Let's just say it was the first time I've ever been skinny-dipping.  I went down the slide, and lost my glasses in the pool.  What a loser.  Matt and Matt ran out of the woods, screaming.  All the girls screamed and got out of the pool.  I waited outside by myself while Matt and Matt looked for my glasses.  They finally found them.  After that, we watched t.v. for an hour or so.  We then went to bed around 4ish.  We were woken up a few times in the morning.  At ten we all got up.  I left a little after 11.

The rest of sunday I think I just hung around.  I then started getting ready for yet another birthday party.  Skylar's dad came and picked me up at my house.  When I got there, Amy was there.  We hung around for a few, and thewn Ashlee, Noelle and her friend Laura showed up.  Ash, Amy, Skylar, and I just sat at the table, gossiping.  But not the bad kind, just catching up.  Noelle and Laura didn't really talk the whole time.  Later on some guys showed up.  No one I know know, just seen or know.  That kind of thing.  We went swimming, and Taylor and Andrea showed up.  After awhile, we sat by the fire.  I ate so much.  I had at least half a bag of chips, 7 or 8 chicken wings, half a plate of crackers/pepperoni/cheese, a bunch of marshmallows (roasted by the fire!), a piece of cake, and a strawberry daquiri.  Guh, it was a lot.  I got home around 10ish, and went to sleep right away.

Monday I worked with Garrett.  There was this little boat, a Falcon, that was disgusting.  It had apparently sank twice and had been in storage for three years.  It was over 10 years old.  I saw it and almost cried.  We weren't fully detailing it, thank god.  I got in with my scrub brush and just scrubbed away.  It looked better, but still all ewey.  Two cushions were almost brown, when they were originally white.  Garrett took them outside and sprayed them down with stain and mold remover, basically bleach and some other chemicals.  They looked almost new.  After that gross boat, I didn't do much.  I swept, vacummed, filed, etc.  Lisa taught me how to put paper in the register, how to use the register, and some other thing.  I do a lot of things there.  We got a little Bayliner at 4.  It was supposed to go out at 4.  The buyers showed up at 4:15.  I was stressed.  Luckily it was pretty clean.  They watched me clean for a bit, which made me nervous.

My family (and Marissa's friend Megan) went out on the boat.  We went over to Raymond beach.  I was sitting on the side of the boat, with my foot in, eating some crackers.  I had my bathing suit, a cami and some jean shorts on.  My dad was joking about throwing the girls in.  I didn't think he would try to throw me in, as I was wearing clothes.  I was wrong.  I went off the side of the boat, clothes and all.  I did leave some fingernail marks in his arm though.  We went over to Frye's Island for supper.  There I made a startling discovery, *giggle* the Poker Run is on the 23.  So is my cheer camp.  I almost cried.  I decided I'm not going to camp on saturday.

Tuesday.. um.. that was yesterday?  Oh!  I worked with Seth yesterday.  So if today is wednesday, then I worked on tuesday.  The mornings are always boring for me.  I usually sweep the garage and vacuum.  My grandfather taught me how to make coffee.  In the late morning, Seth and I went out to wash the three fountains.  I love those boats.  Especially the 38'.  We might not be getting the 42', because some loser tore it up on the Hudson river last week.  There's still a chance, but if not, we'll be taking the 38'.  Which is still fine.  We got in the 38' boat.  Needless to say, I am in love with it.  It's sooo pretty!  Except for the "38"s on the pillows, cushions, etc.  That's just tacky.  The cabin is huuuuge.  We went and sat in it for a bit, talking and cleaning.  We then ate lunch.  I got a calzone.  oh em gee.  It was a medium sized pizza folded in half, with twice the cheese.  I almost died when I saw it.  I ate a little over half of it.  It was pretty good.  After lunch we snapped up the boat.  Seth had to help me, because I suck at snaps.  No joke.  We went to the Trophy, my dads boat, and cleaned it.  It's on the water, so I was able to dunk my feet in.  Seth sprayed so much protect-all on the black dash that it was white.  He then wrote 'Seth rules' on it.  And he wouldn't let me write my name.  I sprayed so much pink stuff on the floor it was uber slippery, so I was sliding around.  I broke the brush I was using.  Seth kept spraying me, and knocking the bottle of pink stuff into the water so I had to get it.  He threatened to take the nozzle off the hose because I was cleaning the wrong way, so I kept dodging him.  He did, and nothing happened.  I believe I called him an ass and went up to the marina to get a new brush.  Good times at the marina.

I rolled up the "800" *cough* feet of rope him and Garrett had found in the gross Falcon.  Around my forearm, which Seth thinks it way too small.  It isn't.  After that, He whipped cups off of the counter with another rope we found.  We really don't slack off too much.  I swear.  I was waiting for my dad to take me home.  I always try to stay busy.  I went home at 3:30, because my dad had to register his bike.

I chilled and stuff for a bit.  I went to lay down around 7:30, and ended up falling asleep.  I woke up at 9 because my dad came in.  I was all 'mmkay, I'll take my contacts out now.  I fell right back asleep.  I woke up at 12:06.  I then went and washed up, put my p.j.s on, and took my contacts.  I woke up again at 3:30 and 7:04.  The damn birds were chirping, so I went and closed my windows.  I fell back asleep until 8:40, because my mom woke me up.  I showered and stuff.

We dropped Marissa at a friends house, and went shopping.  We went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch, (yay!) I got chicken quesidillas and the salad bar.  It was good.  In all I bought a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, sneakers, a tank, lounge pants, and two pairs of sunglasses.  I also got two films developed.  They were from Florida and the Relay for Life.  James, I think, took like ten pictures of me at the pie eating contest.  *sigh*  I'm pretty cute with apple pie all over my face.  I had that 'This is how a heart breaks' song by Rob Thomas stuck in my head all day.  I've been singing it constantly too.

That's it.  Pretty long recap, huh?  If you read all of this, a gazillion points to you.  I've listened to this song at least ten times while writing this.  It's my favorite song.  They're a great band, so you should check them out.

"And there's three, count 'em three
Children playing on the beach
They were eager to learn,
To be taught and to teach

There's Veronica
She's biting her lip
As she watches the waves turn white at the tip
And there's Vada
Radiating with joy
And luckily she still can't stand the sight of a boy
And lastly there's Dade
His hair dances in the wind
And he's wondering what love is
And why it has to end

And he can't understand
How everyone goes on breathing when true love ends
His mother whispers quietly...
Heaven's not a place that you go when you die
It's that moment in life when you actually feel alive
So live for the moment
And take this advice, live by every word
Love is just a hoax so forget anything that you have heard
And live for the moment now

And there's three, count 'em three
Children growing on the beach
They were eager to learn,
To be taught and to teach

There's Veronica
She's licking her lips
As she waits for her real, first passionate kiss
And there's Vada
Can't admit her jealousy
Of her sister Veronica, and how she's so pretty (and how she's so pretty)
Lastly there's Dade
Still sitting on the dock
Ponders his life, and he skips his rocks
And he wonders when his father will return
But he's not coming back

And he can't understand
How everyone goes on breathing when true love ends
His mother whispers quietly...
Heaven's not a place that you go when you die
It's that moment in life when you actually feel alive
So live for the moment
And take this advice, live by every word
Love is just a hoax so forget everything that you have heard (forget everything)

And there's three, count 'em three
Children missing from the beach
They were eager to learn,
To be taught and to teach

But the sad thing
Is that they never lived passed the age of fifteen
Due to neglect from their mother
Who was bed ridden by her ex-lover, their father
She didn't even notice, or pay much attention
As the tide came in and swept her three into the ocean
Now all her advice, it seems useless

No, heaven's not a place that you go when you die
It's that moment in life when you touch her and you feel alive
So live for the moment
And take this advice, live by every word
Love's completely real, so forget anything that you've heard
And live for the moment now."
