Journaling: What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #2
Haven't done one of these in ages. Yeah, technically it's not Wednesday anymore but...eh, let's go with it huh? :P

I don't have an actual workdesk or space anymore. My supplies have been brought to the house we're staying at in a couple of containers and 2 large shopping bags. It's not ideal, but it works and I've been working while sitting in a comfy recliner chair. I was playing around with some new art journaling supplies, specifically some new acrylic paints and simply had to share the results.
I bought a few of these Folkart Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paints because they were on clearance at a local store. Having no idea what to expect I dived in, put a few spots on my gessoed page and spread it around with an old credit card. OMG WOW! How pretty and colorful and GLITTERY!!!! I was in LOVE! *happy dances*
The colors I used were Silver, Turquoise, and Purple. I put the 3 of them on the left page of the spread and only Silver & Turquoise on the right page. The stuff dried so fast, I was able to put on some papers for collage in about 10 or 15 min.

I simply used Matte Medium to adhere all the papers to the pages.
Here's the pages in full view. Still a work in progress, but I'm loving the colors and the sparkly look! So much so, that Wednesday night I went shopping for more colors and got: Red, Fuchsia, Yellow, Emerald, & Blue. Can't wait to try them out!
