why can't we all just get along?

sometimes i just want to give up on my fan-related communities. There is so much hatred spilled out over some of them and I jsut give up. For people who say they don't give a shit about certain shows/characters/relationships they definitely spend way too much time analysing/bitching about them - time detracted away from the original goal and also not pleasant for those who don't share their opinion, like myself.

sometimes i really hate being stuck in the middle in this fandom. I feel like the very minority it's trying to support. gah.
