Remember that other-C&DP-story I kept talking about writing during those last couple of bits of Dogs of War and kept asking questions for? Well, this would be it.

Title: Good Intentions
Summary: Deadpool thought killing that 'Nathan' guy was going to be a fairly routine job. He couldn't have been more wrong.

Haaaaaaawt. That was awesome! I really like this (and I get to enjoy early Cable without the Liefeld brain hurting-ness) and hope you keep writing this as a series. Pleasepleaseplease! And btw I would LOVE to see what Tolliver would do if he found out the guy he hired to kill his Dad ended up screwing him into the matress instead. XD

Even putting aside the terrible art, you're not missing all that much - though it's interesting to get some backstory on him, the storylines from the time weren't all that great, and Cable is really not as likeable a character as he is in C&DP. Technically I'm taking some pretty big liberties with characterisation here just by ignoring how differently everyone acted back then (but I'm pretty sure no-one reading is going to mind).

And btw I would LOVE to see what Tolliver would do if he found out the guy he hired to kill his Dad ended up screwing him into the matress instead. XD

Ahaha, I don't think I'll be covering that exactly (still don't know what I'm doing with Tolliver yet), but Wade's going to be spending some time wondering pretty much the same thing, only without the 'love' part. ;)
