I never imagined they could be half so much fun to write for either. X3 (Half the beauty of these request memes is getting to write so many things you'd never have come up with otherwise. ^_^)
The medieval one may have wound up as the shortest in the whole set, but I still had my share of fun with it too. *g*

BTW, you guys are making me feel old with the Dragonball talk...I'm from the Voltron generation (Even if I was five, I was a big fan of "Keith" in the awful dub).
Me, too! In first grade, we had serious debates over whether Lotor was blue or purple. (A side note, rumor has it that the English dub was actually more fun than the original two japanese series they spliced it out of.) I've heard there is a movie in the works, now???!!! I'm really feeling old.
That world does seemt to be going down well with people. ^_^ But to be fair, something about Doumeki and Watanuki makes just about any scenario funny.
When *I* was five I was an Astroboy nut, so we're not that far off the same generation. And I got into DB a good few years before all the younger fans started getting drawn in by the hideously inferior! dub that came out later, so I kinda think of myself as an older school fan anyway. XD

*grin* They're both rather humourously incompetent in that medieval world (and I think they're going to have a long way to go yet before that ever changes much).
Pirates: still one of my favourites out of the whole batch too - not to mention being the one that kicked a lot of this off. (Well, thought Joop late one night, I should really get around to posting that AU request thing I've been pondering for a while. But am I really confident I will be able to fill enough requests to make it worthwhile? What kind of requests am I even likely to get? What if someone should request something like pirates, for example?
