Rampant fangirling ahead

A few thoughts:
VINCENT! VincentVincentVincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentvincentVINCENTVincentVincent…gee, I sure hope Tifa’s gonna show up at some stage… *pause* *headdesk*
During the scene in which Cloud is fighting Mysterious White Haired Guy, has his sword knocked out of his grasp and whips around with a second sword that seems to come out of nowhere:
Head voice 1: Hey, just where did he pull that thing from anyway?
Head voice 2: Inventory-space!
(If I was intelligent, this conversation would be left here, but…)
Head voice 1: …?
Head voice 2: Y’know, that place where they store that ridiculous supply of extra weapons and items when you’re not using them?
Head voice 1: Oh… Hang on, you couldn’t change weapons during battle in FFVII! That was only the earlier games and X.
*please excuse us while Joop proceeds to strangle her inner geek*
Thing which could possibly be interpreted as a mention of Zack!
I’m actually starting to get comfortable enough with this whole concept of "Cloud is well animated and has a voice and extra detail and everything". This is a good thing. It means I’m finally capable of realising that those fight scenes look. Really. Smegging. Cool.
How much fangirling is there gonna be if Cloud ever pulls of something that looks like Omnislash?
They mentioned people found Jenova’s head! You realise this validates every Sephiroth/Jenova resurrection fic ever written!?
Truly amazing what a little eye-candy can do to dispel one's misgivings about the probable plot. *waaaay too easily sold*
