Okay, I'm thinking of setting up a filter like everyone else is doing, so as not to inflict my babbling on those of you who don't really want to read about it. So if you'd like to be on the filter, gimme a comment here, and I'll add you to it.
Nanowrimo is probably what I'm going to be updating most about in the coming month, so if you aren't on the filter and it seems like I've fallen off the face of the Earth -- don't worry. I most likely haven't, I'm just scribbling like mad.
I'm having a bit of a dilemma, and I'd like to hear other opinions.
My novel is set in modern day, and I plan to involve some... pop culture elements, I guess you could say. For things like the names of baseball teams, and -- well, my main character's working at a well-known amusement park. Should I use the actual names? Or should I fudge and make something up? I've heard several opinions, but I'd like to hear a few more. I guess I'm a little nervous about it. I mean, it's not like it's ever going to be published, but still...
Okay, I've got 400 more words to reach my daily goal, so back to the grind!
