maquisleader and I have figured out why my laptop is being so moody. It asked me for a name when I was connecting it to our network, and I gave it the first one I thought of: Angel. ML said, "No wonder the poor thing is tortured."
Hmph. I'll show it tortured.
I found a couple of my unfinished fics hidden in a directory on my other computer, so even if Angel doesn't start cooperating, I won't lose everything. They're not completely up to date, but they're better than nothing. Now I'm working on Angel backstory since kumiko1 is batting her eyelashes so beautifully at me.
