Movie star me
I got my DVD of Mr. Fix It yesterday -- well, actually it was delivered Saturday, but we were out of town, so it sat on my porch all weekend. Thank you, Amazon, and your FUBARed delivery estimates.
I haven't had a chance to actually watch it yet, and I'll probably wait until maquisleader comes to visit (which is in, OMG, two and a half days!), but I wanted to look for the scene they shot at the local speedway, because I was one of the crowd extras. Sure enough, during the establishing scene and crowd shots, around 1:25:47 or thereabouts, there is a shot of the back of me in the background, wearing a red cap and a red shirt, with a ponytail and a black backpack, waiting in line to buy a ticket. It's from the back, and fairly far away, and if you didn't know it was me, you wouldn't be able to go, "Hey, that's Ral!" but it's clear enough for me to go, "Oh my God!" and my mom to go, "Hey, there you are!"
I'm in a David Boreanaz movie. Hee.
I hope that everyone had a good New Year's. Among my resolutions (I have many this year), I have resolved to write for at least 15 minutes every day (this one will be hard), and to update my LJ -- and read (and comment!) on my f'list at least twice a week. So I hope to be around much more this year than last.
