I remember reading somewhere that David Boreanaz filmed "In the Dark" either immediately after or several days after a high speed car accident. My respect for the man has gone up around 600 notches. I can barely move, and he was strung up by his arms for several hours a day!
The soreness and stiffness are still present, even with the medicine, though they're slowly getting better. I still feel like crap -- just a slightly better brand of crap.
The bruising continues to worsen, which is to be expected, but it's still scary! I don't think I'll stop being nervous until it stops getting worse and starts getting better. Bruising means damage under the skin, and hello -- sensitive area! Not somewhere I want damage under the skin!
My friends came over this weekend to keep me company, which was very sweet of them. We had a massive junk food fest since my prescription says no alcohol, and watched movies and TV and just talked. We never get to do that anymore! It was very cool.
I stayed up way too late last night reading, and as a consequence, I am sore and tired and grouchy and not looking forward to going to work. Especially the "driving on the freeway" part of going to work. I can handle street driving, though it's somewhat... jerky at intersections, but I'm not sure what my reactions are going to be like on the freeway. Guess we'll find out, huh?
Okay, can't put if off any longer...
