wow what a weekend... I wish I had more time to recover from it.
Godizus was awesome times with awesome people. The first night was the best, despite minor technical difficulties at the beginning (music was supposed to start at 2pm??? more like midnight)... It was full of dancing, psytrance/drum&bass, some hardcore precision flailing/turntable breakage, fun times with pixilated_serra, happy/dissociative chemicals, realizing just how many of my friends like star trek, and not enough sleep.
The second night, while also fun, wasn't as great as the first. I learned why one should not ingest said happy/dissociative chemicals too often. I was kinda depressed and spacey and just didn't have the energy to dance and create warmth for myself like I did the first night, and therefore was cold. Too bad larger pants doesn't necessarily mean warmer pants :/
Overall it was fun though. I made some new friends, who are now on my LJ friends list. I'm really looking forward to Cedarsky, which should be even more awesome (the venue at Godizus, while in the Elaho, was not as cool as it should have been).
I'm really glad the perogy renegade stage guys were so awesome and loaned their turntable to the D&B stage, as the party abruptly ending a few hours after it really began would have been tragic.
