I'll start of with the parts of the episode that I enjoyed. First off, I love Victoria. I don't care how much of a bitch she is, Daphne just rocks. I felt so bad for Brooke though when her mother's actions made her feel as if she was a failure. Which brings me to...
Brooke and Peyton. Honestly, the other night I was wondering, "why do I even ship Brooke and Peyton's friendship?" For the most part, its always Brooke supporting Peyton. Brooke being there for Peyton. So last night's end scene is exactly what I needed to revive my love for these two. Finally, Peyton being there for Brooke.
My heart broke for Haley when she found Jamie's picture of him and Carrie. It was nice to see Haley back in the music scene, but honestly, those scenes didnt really do much for me. See ya, K-Fed.
Now, here was my problem with the episode. Peyton. I understand she says she isn't home for Lucas (yeah, right). I understand that wants to get over him (even though she doesn't). But honestly, I could see him saying the same thing to Brooke or even Haley, like he did back in the day with Nate. So when she went outside and yelled at him, I wanted to just wack her. Get over yourself, Peyton. Maybe he was trying to be your friend and watch out for you. Did you ever think that? No. You didnt'.
5.05 next week! Eek! That Brooke and Lucas kiss (even if it is a flashback) has me so excited! It is going to have to tie me over for the rest of the series. Ha ha. Because I know, despite my deepest wishes, they are not going to end up together. But I will enjoy their scenes none the less.
