I went to Ontario, Canada for a week and a half. I left December 26 and got home January 4. I got to go up with Amy. It was such good times. Today was my first day back at work. It was so slow!!! I forgot how slow it gets in january and february. But I got to read Budget Living and American Photo magazines. So that's cool.
So, funny story, I had gotten into an argument with a co-worker in mid December. But I thought we talked it out and everything was ok. So I bought her a bottle of wine for xmas. Well, my boss told me today that this coworker said, "Did Trish buy you a bottle of wine for xmas?" Lee said, "No, why?" The coworker said, "Oh, well, you know that show Columbo? Well, someone got wine and it was poisoned, so I threw it out since we got into that fight." Lee didn't know what to say. I mean, seriously, what the fuck? Why in the world would she ever think that I would try to poison her. I can't believe she wasted a bottle of wine. That's bull shit. That's alcohol abuse right there. lol.
OMG, I just can't wrap my brain around it. That is the most illogical thing I have ever heard. I mean, I already thought my coworker was high strung and a little nuts, but now I know that she's just Grade A Crazy. The thing is, we've worked together for a year and a half and we've never had problems before. She was the one that got angry at me in the first place! Unreal. This isn't a freaking soap opera. It's ritz camera.
"I'm sorry, I poisoned your wine for the good of the land. I poisoned yours (haha) as well. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!"- Tenacious D
Oh, on a brighter note, my sign language professor from last semester recommended me for a paid tutoring-ship at Catonsville Community College. I guess I'll just be helping first year sign language students. I don't know what the pay or hours will be. I need to call the woman back tomorrow to get all the details, but I'm really excited. On the message she said that the hours are flexible, which is good since I work full time and classes will be starting up the end of the month.
