Christmas and the following days till' present.
It's been a while since I last updated, I'll try and update more. I'll start with the day before Christmas eve:
12/23/04: My cousins and Uncle Ken came over for Christmas. We played some games and on the first day they came we watched the extended version of LOTR ROTK. There were some really cool parts in it that I wish they left in. The next day was Christmas Eve, and that is when we do the whole Christmas thing.
12/24/04: So we went over to my Grandma’s and my Grandma had a “Surprise” Gramps bought her a nice Bingo set for X-mas. We played that and she had some awesome prizes, I won once and got a whole bunch of socks! Bob, Stacey and their kids came (besides Amanda) with Roger (Stacey’s Dad). After we played Bingo a bunch of times we all started to eat, I hardly ate anything. Oh yeah! I sat around Kenny, Jocelyn, Daniel, and Ben. After we ate it was time for the program. We sang some Christmas carols and Jubi played her Violin well. It was my turn to start playing the piano; I played a couple of songs, without messing up. Bekah did her song and so did Kenny. Bob read a story about fatherhood, that I hardly paid attention too. Dad read the Christmas story and we all did the 12 days of Christmas (tradition). Then it was time to open presents.
We all gathered around the living room and started passing them out to everyone. MY coiusins opened there’s up and they liked it good. Ben opened up his present from Grandma and them and they got him a camera\., the on e I had asked for (we both asked for the same one). I finally went to open up some of my presents. I got a digital camera, the one I picked out, Seinfeld on DVD, I, Robot, Brain teasers, Clothes (from when we went shopping), The Long Kiss Goodnight, Commando. Kenny and Bekah gave me the last two presents. Dad and Mom gave me Seinfeld. Grandma gave me the nice Digital camera.
I was way happy with such great presents. Uncle Mike was being a real scrooge, Dad went into grandma’s room where he hid himself and Dad gave him his present to open. Well, he just laid on their bed and kept flipping through the T.V., then Dad says “So what are you doing”, and he angrily retorts “I’m watching T.V., Ok!” Aunt Janet was getting angry with him too, he came late and left early. What the hell? Besides that Christmas was great! I love it!
12/25/04: The next day our other Grandpa came over and we had a nice visit with him and Kate. We had breakfast with them and Uncle Ken (and kids) and then we opened up presents. They got Bekah, Kenny, and I all 25 dollars of movie tickets to Silverado! I put those to use! They left later, and we started to play Cranium and then Uncle Ken, Helen, and Daniel left.
12/28/04: On Tuesday Rebekah’s friends came over Rachel, and Rachel. Kenny also invited David and Ben to spend the night. Ben couldn’t spend the night but he got stay till’ 10:45. Dave and Ben got there first we played Star Wars Battlefront (fun game!) and then Rachel L. arrived. She comes in and says she has to call the police! A ladder like flew out of a trailer right in front of them and stayed in the middle of the road. She called and they took care of it. We then ate some food, and I made everyone toast. After everyone ate, we all played Cranium. Rachel, Rachel, and Rebekah, against Kenny, Ben, David, and I (so pretty much guys against girls). Well I would seem three high school girls would win against one high school guy and three Middle school students. Well we won! We had some lucky rolls, and Ben was on fire.
After the game we had to take Ben home, so we did. We came back and played some more Star wars them Mom came home and we watched I, Robot. David was falling asleep and I kept waking him up. It was fun watching it. The girls were watching Mean Girls in the other room. After the movie we played some more Star Wars then we went to bed. Dave and I slept on my Bed and Kenny slept on his. We talked a bit and then fell asleep.
12/29/04: Today! I woke up really late, and then I went straight to Youth Group. I talked to Matt a little bit and then talked to Holly whom I hadn’t seen in a long while. I sat next to Noah and Holly, the praise was good, and the sermon was about following God’s plans not your own. We had to leave earlier because we were going to the movies to see Fat Albert at 9:30, with David and some of the other ones. We got there and it turns out that it was just David, Kenny, and Caesar there. Apparently we were late and Dave was kind of freaking out. We paid for the movie and got some popcorn and went to the movie. Caesar lost his tooth in the theater and I went to get him some napkins. The movie was ok; Bekah liked it a lot. The kids liked it and we went outside to wait to be picked up. It was great hanging out with young kids! That was the first time I had really talked to Caesar, he’s a really cool kid! Hopefully I’ll get to know him better.
I’ve seen some movies lately I’ll tell ya about them:
A Series Of Unfortunate Events: We saw this like 3 days before Christmas. I sat next to Bekah and Mom. We got half way through the movie and then Kenny got really sick! He was throwing up like crazy. We finished the movie and since Kenny didn’t see the movie (Because he was in the restroom) they refunded ALL of our tickets. The movie was pretty good, imaginative, not too good, but ok.
Ocean’s 12: We saw this like 4 days ago. It was all right; Bekah liked it a lot.
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou: Just Bekah and me saw this one about 3 days ago. The best part about seeing this one was going to see it with Bekah! The movie just wasn’t our type, there was some funny parts but I didn’t like it too well.
Tomorrow is Bible study and Judy’s family reunion thingy. Hopefully I’ll write about it soon. Bye
