Top Albums of 2007!!!
So, this year, I did a list with Mark. It was very democratic, and we came up with a pretty killer representation of what we loved this year.
This year, by the way, was an amazing year for music. More specifically, it was an amazing year for drummers. Seriously, some mind blowing stuff.
Although the list doesn't give a good representation of the rap community (any suggestions there? I dug the new Jay-Z, but most of the other stuff I checked out was sort of blah), and some other major areas (pop music didn't grab me like it did last year. In fact, it can be argued that indie music became the pop music this year with the likes of The Arcade Fire, The Shins, and Modest Mouse all representing huge sales), I am really happy with it.
