i can't sleep.
i can't sleep. i found myself trying to remember all of my comical run ins with "rock stars" over the years. here's some of the best:
1. talking to david bazaan (pedro the lion) about pretending to be his gay lover so he could sneak me in for free. talking about fire and how it's so popular.
2. when rachel from xoxoxo said "fuck you, ryan!" over the mic after i called them techno when they were trying to be cool onstage.
3. when sugarcult threatened to kick my ass after their set because of my mockings and water bottle chucking.
4. when jet dedicated a song to landon and i. after the show they wouldnt stop shaking our hands and complimenting us. they wrote fucker on my poster.
5. the past three times i saw rocky votolato i would scream his name obnoxiously as he set up. ROCKAY!ROCKEEEAAAAYYY! he laughed. after his set he shook my hand and said he was happy to see me again.
6. when the unicorns were bashing america and i ran ustage and got in the guys face and said "fuck canada you fucking canuck!" (sorry hannah). he shut up after that.
7. when chris carabba was playing (and sucking) i threw a soda bottle and hit his hair. it was accompanied by "you suck!" and some explitive deleteds.
8. when the red light sting said "dance like this guy! he's sexy!" in between a song. the bassist then hit my fist with his bass.
9. when i went into the band lounge and shook the polysic's hands. i instructed them to watch my jacket. they didnt really undertstand. but they bowed to me.
10. when underoath stopped in the middle of a song to watch me beat the crap out of landon and get kicked out. they were shouting over the mic "look a fight! woah!".
11. when that guitarist from mewithoutyou was showing landon and i jonah metrangas guitar when we really didn't care. why brag about someone else's guitar? i was thinking about how much i hated mewithoutyou the whole time....
12. when landon kept saying "fucking jew" to blake sennett (rilo kiley/ the elected) until he got pissed off and said "what did you say?" and landon said "whats up dude?".
