Making Myself Blend Into the Background.
Oh look, it’s been almost four weeks since my last entry... oops. Oh well!
This time, however, none of that sad, depressing, trying-to-find my place in my family business. I’m actually feeling quite cheerful. Of course, I know why this is - I’m going home in five days!
I had a good time in New Orleans, and we left David and Alex with Miss Debbie and Mr. Billy for a week. Dad, Cindy, and I went out to the Bonefish Grill one night, and we went to see Hancock another day. It was nice not having to worry about them.
As for what’s been going on in my life now, not much. I’ve been working a lot these past few weeks, but I’m watching David and Alex this week. When I was at SealTech two weeks ago, I got to work out in the warehouse. One of those days, I worked almost 12 hours!
I’ve lost about 10 pounds these past few weeks as well. I hope to become a bit more toned over the next few months so that by Halloween, I’m looking sexy in my Silk Spectre costume, which I’ll be working on when I get home.
Speaking of Watchmen, I saw the new trailer this week, and found it hard to contain my geekiness. I also saw the new Star Trek posters - very nice. I wish I could go to ComicCon. Maybe, someday.
In another geeky-related thing, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is AWESOME! I must have looped those videos all weekend, and I can’t wait for the DVD release. The acting, the comedy, the soundtrack - it is so freaking cool!
Last thing here - as for my relationship with Alex, everything is going great. We’ve been talking on the phone more often, and we chat online when we can. He’s going to be at the airport with my mom on Saturday to pick me up. I just can’t wait to see him again. I’ve missed him so much.
