I always feel horrible when one of the babes cries. :(
Today was just about nothing but. The infant's sick and the toddler just got over his cold.
So after finally getting the oldest to sleep for his nap, I got the youngest out of the crib where she was gurgling. XD The cutie pie.
So I change and feed her a little and she's good. We play and walk around the house for a while (me carrying). Then she starts fussing.
Girlie's a bit gassy. So time for some back patting and she gives a few good burps. I lay her down to situate her crib and she starts crying.
Time for some more to eat and then a nap. I pick her up and
SPLAT!
Spit-up ALL over my shoulder and a puddle on the floor. D: Okay, not so bad. I clean it up and we walk a bit while the bottle warms up.
But she gets even fussier. She's gotten a bit warm and is NO longer happy or content with a bottle. So I pull out the baby Tylonal dropper.
There's no dosage on it for her size! UGH! So I put some on my pinkie and put it in her mouth hoping it's enough.
Sit her down to put a nipple on the bottle and she freaks OUT. So I pick her up and rock her a bit. Turn to pick up the bottle, lift it up....
Milk goes everywhere! I didn't get a chance to screw it on! DX I feel like the world's biggest loser. I've gotten milk all over the two of us,
she's positively screaming now, and I have to lay her down to go get her a new outfit. Creep into her brother's room,
praying that he doesn't wake up. Finally, get her a new outfit, change the diaper (don't know if it was pee or milk, but it's wet), and lay her
down in her crib and feed her with the white noise machine going for her. Crisis solved.
So now I've got some me time before I go. I just finished a cup of coffee and I'm waiting for my lunch to cook in the microwave before I
sit down and study some. My school weekends are just so eventful, no? :)
Here's hoping my actual weekend isn't.
