ADIML: June 7th, 2008 (80 pics)
Hello, all! My name is Roxie, I'm 19 and I live here in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area a.k.a. Northern Virginia. :) This is my 3rd recorded ADIML but my first post. The first is on a flash drive somewhere in my disaster of a room & the second I was asked not to post by friends. I'm a photography student here at the community college where I've transferred in from SCAD. This post is the first day of Vacation Bible School here at my church. I'm not big on religion myself (agnostic) but I can't resist little kids or crafts so I volunteered. Meaning this is my first ADIML that doesn't feature the beautiful works of my Nikon D40X. :'(

The pros of short hair is no bed head. :) I forgot I was doing an ADIML until after I woke up, so you missed the habitual morning routine. But look! I have Orbit! :D

Medicine of the Gods. I have horrible acid reflux and Prevaicd makes it so I can eat everyday. Which reminds me I haven't taken it today yet. (>_<)

I really don't like that "mini-afro" I've got going.
Mommy and I do a quick stop at CVS to get last minute supplies.
Grabbed some coffee on the way out the house earlier, where I noticed this HUGE crack in my collectable Neko-Con bottle. I am not pleased (I've only used it about 10 times myself). J's been shirking on cleaning her water bottle for swim practice and has been using mine instead, so now it's in horrible shape. >:(
At church. Time to decorate!
"S" (who's appeared in every ADIML I've done so far, now that I notice) has found a pair of sunglasses one of the groups left behind. Doesn't he look awesome?
More decorating. S cuts some more paper for our paper vines while our moms work on the other crafts.

S snags my camera and takes some nice "working" pictures of me with the half-finished vines and our first complete one.

S plays ninja with the paper rolls while we wait for our moms to get back from decorating upstairs.

We entertain ourselves with the preschool trivia flip book in the room. This one question gives us the giggles for the rest of the day. XD
All done with the decor! Now we just need the kids. My mom steps out at this point to pick up J from camp.

The kids are here! :D This is K and TK (Twin-K).
K is TK and TS's (Twin-S) older sister.
J has arrived with goodies! Sadly I don't get them until break. :(
More children arrive and we start up the crafts. G (5 yrs) is the adorable girl in the purple dress. She was so shy that she wouldn't talk to us until the last day! Luckily her mom was there to play "telephone" for us!
St (3 yrs) was the real energy ball of the group all week. S managed to get my reaction to St's innocent question of "Are you a boy?" Urgh! I don't like the afro!
He made my day a few seconds later by asking, "Is he (points at S) a boy?" XD
Gotta love S. He does a time check w/o me even having to ask! :D
It's time for our break while the kids go to story time and have snack.
I get Photo-Ninja'd by the devious duo. I was so proud of J (who I'd only taught this to 2 days prior) that I glomped her that night when I went through my pictures.
((sniff sniff)) I've taught her so well!
The adults and J get into trying out the paper butterflies.
But I get my goodies! Pepsi! Yay! ((snuggle))
I decide to indulge myself in some Ansel Adams photos while we wait for the kids to come back (I'm not impressed with the book, sadly).
Time check and snack! The Pepsi was good, but the apples tasted weird for some reason. I later decided it was the Orbit I was chewing before snack. (>_<) Blegh!

I grab some of the left over bread to have with the rest of my pepsi. Noms! :)
We see one of the adorable electric cars on our way home. I want one so bad! But my parents say they'd get me a Hummer before getting me a "mini-deathtrap" to drive. I still say I want one of those funky Toyotas with the cool head and tail lights.

Time check. I'm sleepy and tell LW so (who happens to be one of my all time favorite authors on FF.N).
Set my clock and my alarm (the power had gone out while we were at VBS).
Twilight on iTunes! Even though I've read it 6 times. (>.<) But I get annoyed with the lady reading it and turn it off shortly afterwards.

ZOMG! My dad wakes me up to say it's time to eat dinner. I'm look over to see what time it is (I was only gonna sleep for 30 minutes!). OMFG!
I get up and watch the end of Monters Inc. while I wait for everything to heat up.
Nom noms and BET comedy. I rarely watch BET (prefer VH1 really), but this guy is awesome. He does an act about marching band and HBCU's that's exact down to the the T!
Fall is Football Marching Band Season! XD
