9 октября 2010 года, будучи негодующим от невозможности купить Цивилизацию 5 в оригинале, не дожидаясь выхода русской версии, я написал в техподдержку Take2 письму:
Dear Support,
Sorry to bother, but I was really disappointed, when saw, that it's not possible for me to by digital version of Civilization V, because I leave in different region. I'm a big fan of Civilization series, so why can't I enjoy new one, since it is available, but not for my country?
I live in Russia, yes. But I prefer buying digital English versions, because - they are available much earlier, than our localizations; I also don't like Russian translation for past several years... So why should I buy Russian version a month later for 17$, while I'm ready to pay 50$ for original version?
In these case, here are the questions:
- Is it unavailable until distribution in Russia starts? Will I be able to buy original digital version after that?
- If I use some things like proxy and so on - will it be OK to buy the game in such a way?
