the wailers (as in, bob marley and the wailers) had a free concert in the park the other day. everyone, and i mean everyone, in the crowd danced. old ladies were gettin their groove on, shaking their hips, and just gettin down! an old man next to me stood up and danced while holding on to his walking stick. i grew up listening to my mom's LEGEND cd.
my favorite bob marley song is waiting in vain. and my favorite line from that song goes like this:

everyone in the world knows who bob marley is. in nepal, if a guy wanted to tease me in the street, he'd call me 'bob marley'. everywhere i went, that was the standard 'line' for me. the other day in jackson heights, a lady asked me, what my 'bob marley hair' was called.. haha. dreds lady, dreds.
