Stuff.....
Man, I am SO ready to say goodbye to 2014! This has NOT been a banner year for me.
Some good news though... my daughter was here for 4 days. I just sent her home yesterday. And I must say that the visit was a wonderful one. We dealt with a lot of issues. There was more healing and bonding than we've had in years and overall I have to say that I'm SO glad she came and miss her very much.
This all in spite of the fact that the weather here in Seattle was HORRIBLE, I managed to catch bronchitis, she caught a bad cold, and we were both deathly sick the whole time she was here. Never-the-less... the visit was wonderful.

I bought a new Christmas tree which arrived yesterday. Got a green tree and shall retire my little silver tree that I've used for years. I'm dying to put up my Christmas decorations and may, indeed, decide to put them up early this year just to brighten my mood. I do love how my apartment looks when it's decorated for Christmas.
Went to the dr yesterday and got a chest xray just to be sure I didn't have pneumonia and got scripts for some damned expensive meds. Expensive or not, I got them and I'm going to take them. This bronchitis has been kicking my butt. It's going on two weeks now and I'm really tired of being sick.
Think I'll be re-joining Weight Watchers when I get my next check.. for about the umpteenth time. *sigh* I've been so depressed for the past 6 months or so and my 'quick-fix' for that has always been food. So.. naturally I've gained a ton of weight.. again. Hopefully I can get it under control... and maybe once this damned bronchitis goes away I can get back to walking. Right now I can barely walk from one room to another without losing my breath... and I hate it!
Anyway... there's my latest update. Hopefully I'll have something more positive to post in a few days.
