GO HAWKS!!!
Cathy and I have gathered a crapload of munchies and are all set to cheer our Seahawks on to victory! I come from Detroit so it's been a LONG time since I had a football team I could cheer about.

In other news:
We saw 'SPAMALOT' at the 5th Avenue theater yesterday. This was Cathy's BD gift to me and I absolutely loved it! It was a wonderful show, filled with all the humor, wit, and ridiculousness we've always associated with Monty Python. The songs were wonderful. Some old... ("We're knights of the round table....")... some new. But all done wonderfully well, and not without a mention (several times) of our Seahawks! Then we ate dinner at the Dragon-fish restaurant, one of our favorite places. It was a grand day and I totally enjoyed every minute... especially the crab cakes which were a slice of heaven!
Haven't been posting much lately. I've been really depressed about my weight loss... or rather LACK of weight loss. It's been months since I had any really significant loss. Not gaining either... just flatlined. I'm trying to stay positive and keep on the program, but it's very, VERY frustrating.
I've decided that I'm going to cut back my volunteer time at the Senior Center to just one day a week. Mondays there are VERY busy and VERY stressful and I've decided that I just don't need the stress in my life. I'm only going to work Tuesday mornings. In April, I'll begin a Ceramics class at the same South Seattle Community College that Brian attends. I'll go on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 11 to 1:30. I'm really looking forward to it! I've got two more Mondays to go before I'm done with them. Ironically enough my last Monday will be on my birthday, the 10th. I'll turn 70. My god, how did THAT happen?? Anyway... off to wash my veggies.
