Day Two!! Happy Froday!

Just dropped Cathy off at the airport. I didn't tell her to have a good time, because it's not that kind of trip. Just told her to get through it. Drove to the airport in my PJ's and with the worst case of bed-hair you've ever seen. Thank GOD I didn't get pulled over.

Next weekend's trip should be better, IF we don't get rained out.

I did my Froday post yesterday!! What the hell is wrong with me? Having this cold has me so befuddled that I don't know what day it is! Happy Froday everyone! Go look at my previous post for pictures and icons!

And on day two I have to list 20 facts about me. Hmmmm... OK.

1. I will be 70 years old in February.
2. I have two children and three grandsons
3. I love 'Lord of the Rings' but prefer hearing Inglis read it over reading it myself OR Peter Jackson's movies.
4. I've loved slash since I was six years old... and that's the truth.
5. I had my own TV show for twelve years... local access, but it went out to most of Southeast Michigan.
6. I read Tarot cards for a living for ten years in a local tea shop and loved every minute!
7. I was a Special Olympics coach and consider it one of the best experiences of my life.
8. I worked in Special Education for twelve years in a department called ADAMLAB which created and sold voice output communication aids. Also one of the best experiences of my life.
9. I've been married twice... both alcoholics... both Virgo's. Coincidence?
10. I moved from Michigan to Seattle in 2010. Best decision I've ever made.
11. I've been in Weight Watchers off and on since 2006 and have lost over 100 lbs in the process 70 lbs of which has stayed off... at this point.
12. I don't believe in god. I don't believe in heaven or hell.
13. I do believe in 'something'. But I think it is so far beyond our understanding that even contemplating it is pointless... like a flea trying to do multivariable calculus.
14. Kirk and Spock were my first OTP, though I remember as a child wondering about 'Tom Corbet and the Space Cadets'.
15. I've played computer or console games ever since they were invented. Remember 'Pong'?
16. I've done computer and data base programming and really enjoyed it.
17. My first computer was a Texas Instruments 99/A. Talk about OLD! Saved my data on a regular cassette tape. Hard drives hadn't been invented and I didn't have a floppy drive. At that time they were WAY too expensive!
18. I can have a bad temper at times and don't make much effort to hide it.
19. My favorite word for idiotic people is 'Jackass'.
20. I think keeping a journal is very important. I love looking back at my older LJ posts and seeing the person I was compared to the person I am now.
