So this morning, I decided to be industrious and do things that were good for my house.
First thing I do is change the air filter on my HVAC unit. Figure I'll get some better distribution on the heat which will of course, make my downstairs better so I can bring my Xbox back down here.
Now, I go all day, till about 8:30. I've cleaned, played video games, cooked 2 meals for myself, before I realized, "Hey it's a bit cold in here." I go look at the thermostat and the heat is set to bring the house up to 68 as per normal, unfortunately, the actual temperature is 58.
I get pissed, I just bought my Hvac less than 2 years ago for a very large sum. So, I start thinking of things I can check/fix. I checked the panel first and played with it, no luck. I checked the fusebox, nope. I go back outside and start messing with the thing in the dark...........hey is that a killswitch? Apparently I put the faceplate back on incorrectly. Because of the small space the unit is in, it is insanely small, it is very hard to put it on correctly. Anyway, warm now.
Now onto the shit, as i was writing this the 1st time, a particularly nasty virus hit IE. It restarts my puter and basically is a fucknut. It redirects all browsing to a paid protection website that is probably their own cash cow for stupid people. I tried 3 virus protection programs and 3 anti spies, the thing is good. I have installed 2 new browsers and am much happier as Google Chrome is amazing.
