i am tired of dealing with fuckign co-dependent morons who cant fucking do anything for themselves. I'M A RECEPTIONIST, NOT A BABYSITTER. YOU ARE ALL ADULTS. FIGURE THIS SHIT OUT YOURSELF. instead of calling me to tell me that the direct line of someone you talk to every fucking day is incorrect, fucking ASK THEM when you talk to them instead of telling me to ask them so i can tell you the next time you call. if someone doesn't pick up their phone, it means they are too fucking busy for your shit. this is advertising, not life and death. and no, i cannot pull them out of meetings to answer your bullshit question. no, i will not give out people's cell phone numbers. calling back 5 times in 3 minutes will not make them get off the phone faster, and it will not make me especially willing to do extra shit for you. and dont' apologize-if you really were sorry, you'd be reasonable and leave me alone. i cannot make peopl answer their phones, hang up on other calls, or check their voicemails. they are grownups, most likely working on your fucking job, and calling 20 times a day does not make it go any faster. i don't know anything about the status of your jobs. if you don't have a contact name, i can't help you. answering the question "x is unavailable. would you like hs/her voicemail?" should not take more than 5 seconds. people get sick and dont come in the office. deal with it. your world will not end because you have to wait another 8 hours. if i answer the phone and no one responds, fuck yeah i'm gonna hang up. you think i have nothing fucking better to do than wait for you to finish whatever other conversation you're having first when you called me? the fact that i am a receptionist does not mean that i am stupid or incompetant. it means i'm fucking 22 years old, i graduated college 5 months ago, and i dont' fucking know what to do with my life. it does not give you the right to talk down to me becuase you're 10+ years older. frankly? i'd rather be young. at least i still have the chance to do something with my life.
