(no subject)
Now that summer is almost over, I thought I might reflect on what happened. Umm...I went to Warped Tour in San Antonio. I'm still excited that I got to see Less Than Jake finally even though they didn't play any songs from Hello Rockview =( While I was up there I also went to San Marcus to the outlet mall. That was probably the most exciting thing I did this summer as far as trips go. I'll be going to Houston on Thursday for school clothes shopping.
I went to the aquarium at the beginning of summer and I'm about to go again with my brother. He's visiting from CA and we haven't seen him in almost 2 years so it'll be nice. He brought his girlfriend with him and she seems to be really nice and they look happy together.
But the one thing that I'm proud of myself for is I re-did my room. I painted it and bought new things for it. And I bought mostly everything by myself. People are asking me why I'm doing it now when I'm only going to be here a year longer but I want to be happy in my room this last year. But yeah, the color scheme is brown and blue. I just love how those colors look together. Katherine and Crystal went crazy decorating my computer desk....it looks crazy, haha. But I am sick to death of painting for now. I even painted my floor (it was cement) so there is no plain spot in my room. I'm really happy with it though. It makes me feel better =)
Well that is my summer bascially. I worked quite a bit...OH! I forgot. I just got my whisdom teeth out Thursday. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I thought it would hurt a lot, but my doctor was really nice. He gave me lots of medication in the I.V. when I was asleep. I just remember waking up with guass in my mouth and being REALLY tired. I slept most of the day.
Well my brother is here so I'm going to go socialize. Hope everyone's summer was great!!! (and safe!)
