Things have been really good. I've started dating someone and we're having a great time in the pink cloud. She made me Icons. They're wonderful! (No TtT jokes!)
I'm not playing WoW very much at all. I don't really miss it. I miss the fun that I had with the people that played it. In the hours and hours of play, there are several shining moments of laughter and fun. It's the hours and hours, that I don’t feel like investing anymore. I'm having fun that is more readily available and more fulfilling than the occasional joke about game geometry, poorly thought out mechanics and class favoritism.
Schedules are getting jumbled and tightened. I'm working full time, and I'm taking 5 classes at the CC. One of them is Japanese 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I don't actually expect to pass the class, but I'm taking it to get a feel for the material for next year. (If I pass it, I'll probably take it again next year anyway, or at least have all the course material to go over.) Another class is Intro to Dance (Mondays and Wednesdays), and Beginning Voice (Mondays). These are two classes that I've wanted to dabble in for a while now, but it's just taken me over 18 years to "get my schedule worked out" to the point where I have no excuses. I found out that my voice instructor is trying to gather people for her pet project of Stage Combat, so I figured I could do that for a few Saturdays. There's a weekend Psych class that I need to find out if it'll run over the Stage Combat one. It does. Oh well. I found out that the DB programming class has materials online that I can use, but that Cabrillo won't let me enroll in classes that overlap by more than 30 minutes. Maybe next year!
Okay, stopping this post to start the next. There was one thing that I wanted to cover, and didn't get the chance to, but once a post is over 24 hours old, it needs to go up. (New rule.)
