I'll be the first to admit that I make some foolish friendly wagers. One only needs to go back to last football season for proof. I'm a Washington Redskins fan. My co-worker is a NY Giants fan. Thinking I was being clever by challenging him to a "loser has to grow a cop-style mustache" left me looking foolish for a couple of weeks (more so than usual).
This year, I actually made a challenge and won! As a result of the Skins' triumph over the Giants Sunday, my co-worker now has to wear a Christmas sweater. I'm going to wait until after the holidays to find a truly hideous one on clearance. The only question now is: nativity-style or commercial Christmas-style?
