School started. Ergo, I have no free time anymore. I spent close to 5 hours doing homework Saturday afternoon... sigh. And now I'm procrastinating doing at least that much more. BUT I will say that it's pretty nice only having all but one of my classes 3 times a week (exception: cooking is on Tuesday nights).
Good news, however: I have, at long last, found a part-time job! Granted, it's only 8 hours a week, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that if you have taken as many chem classes as I have, you start out making $9/hr in the inorganic chemistry stockroom. Not bad for BYU. I guess I could make even more if I had taken the lab for ochem, but oh well. It probably wasn't worth my sanity.
A quick breakdown of my classes:
Biochemistry: Looks like it will be interesting. We'll see how far we get into it before I decide it's really beastly. But I like my book.
Advanced Neuroscience: Interesting, of course, but lots of work...
Country Dance: Fun of course. I get to see my husband and make faces across the room at him when we're not dancing with each other.
HEPE: I don't know, it's all online and I haven't started it yet...
Masterpieces of World Literature: Good teacher, potentially uninteresting subject matter. Thus far I have been unimpressed with the selected readings. (Sorry, I don't particularly care for Thucydides or Pericles...)
Multicultural America: The teacher is entertaining, at least, and it doesn't look like it will be too stressful. So I guess I approve, despite the lack of solid answers to any of the problems discussed in class.
Intro to Cooking: I get to eat food. What's not to love?
And now... it is time to go make dinner.
Go eat dinner, you. Now. It's not healthy to skip meals.
