So I went to bed earlier than usual last night to ensure I would be well-rested for my Chem final this morning at 11 (and also because I had a raging headache). Unfortunately, I forgot to turn off my usual 7:30 alarm... so I woke up when it went off. And then again 10 minutes later. And again 10 minutes after that. I hit the snooze out of habit, evidently, so I would roll over, hit snooze, wake up enough to look at the clock, and then grumble about how I didn't have to get up for two more hours. Repeat several more times.
Finally I realized what was happening (I'm a little slow when I'm first awoken...) and turned off said alarm. In between awakenings, I had a very bizarre dream that I had traveled back in time and then been transported to a different location, leaving me stranded. This concerned me greatly because I had to get back in time to take my final this morning. So periodically throughout the dream, I woke up and checked the time (even after my alarm stopped going off). I don't really remember where I was, except I know it was pretty rural and at one point I was in a Catholic church. It was kind of odd. I didn't put anything in the envelope when they passed it around to collect money.
Needless to say, the last two hours I was asleep were not very restful... but at least my headache was mostly gone by the time I woke up, and Advil took care of the rest of it.
Anyway, my ochem final went pretty well - much better than last semester. There were about a dozen (out of 70) I wasn't sure on, but I was able to narrow it down to two and then guess (educatedly of course) on most of them, so I think I probably did well enough. AND I had extra time at the end to go over it once.
So now I just have 3 finals left... my take-home cell bio test of evilness is well on its way to completion, and then I have to write a couple essays for History and read about 5 chapters/study a good chunk of the book for my Behavioral Neuroscience class. Oh, and then pack all my worldly possessions and figure out how I can fit everything I need this summer into my parents' car.
I can't decide which is worse: taking finals, or packing.
Anyway. Back to work on that bio final. After a 2 and a half hour discussion about it with my group, I think I can tackle it. But only if I write down everything while it's still fresh in my mind.
