I really really really love Fridays. I wish I was done with class by noon every day. (I suppose it would be more possible if I were willing to start earlier, but honestly, who would willingly take a class before 9am?) I mean, it's only 5:00, and since class ended, I've already...
1. ate lunch with some friends
2. bought my textbook for Latin dance (sigh... I thought I was done buying books, but I was wrong)
3. sat in the bookstore for an hour and a half reading Making Money by Terry Pratchett (because it's checked out at the library and I don't want to buy it... so I'm following my brothers' good examples)
4. extracted 126 names
5. tried to visit Dr. Edwards to see if he's decided if I can decapitate rats in his lab yet (he wasn't there though)
6. started my laundry. Which, by the way, was reaching that extra critical point. (Extra because I've been meaning to do at least one load since I got home from break. And now I needed to do three.) I maybe could have lasted 4 more days, but I didn't really want to have to do it in the middle of the week.
And the prettiest kind of snow was falling this morning when I walked to class. Big fluffy flakes drifting down.... I was standing in front of the kitchen window fixing breakfast before I left, very absorbed with cutting my bagel in half, and I didn't even notice said snow for at least a good minute. Rachel asked me if I was blind when I was like, "oh! It's snowing!" To which I replied, "evidently..."
That's me, oblivious to the obvious...
I think I'm getting sick again. I feel like I've been sick since Thanksgiving. Seriously, I've caught at least 3 colds. This is not acceptable. *pout* Clearly I need to eat more of those grapefruit I brought back with me. Luckily, I have my handy dandy grapefruit spoon to facilitate implementing such an idea... Grapefruit spoons are definitely on my list of favorite kitchen utensils.
