I gotta job!
Hi! I think I only update during the summer.
Anyway, my summer break so far has involved job searching, cleaning for my grandpa's 80th birthday party, celebrating my mom and dad's birthdays and mother's day (too. much. cake) and watching Modern Family (so funny!).
But I finally managed to get a job at Macy's! I did lots of preparation for the interview, but she only asked one question and then started asking me when I could work. Okay. I'm fine with that. I had my first day yesterday, and was SO tired. Basically I'm on my feet the whole time getting stuff out of fitting rooms, dragging clothes racks around the store and trying to find where each thing goes, which is way harder than it sounds. I think overheard some of the other employees talking about why I was carrying around the same shirt for 10 minutes haha. At the end of my shift, I saw Yewon and Swathi. Um, yeah, being on your feet for hours doesn't make you the most talkative person. Sorry guys!
Random funny story:
We went to a tapas place for my mom's birthday.
Mom: We're going to Sanctuaria.
Abbie: What's that?
Me: They serve tapas.
Abbie: It's topless?!
The same thing happened when my mom was talking to my aunt on the phone. Apparently my aunt went dead silent. hehe
