I just took the political compass test and it seems my beliefs are closest to that of The Dalai Lama. Also close to my beliefs is Ralph Nader. Now, both Obama and McCain are way opposite of me (Sarah Palin, as I've said before is a Nazi...she is closest to Hitler than anyone else). You know--I think I also took that test and it gave me a result that says I'm a socialist--but wait.. I just went and took it and it says I'm just like Gandhi and the Dalai Lama too.
Still, I voted for Obama--I think that he's the best shot for attempting to get the country back on track. Ralph Nader--for all the good he did long ago in the past--is an egotistical crank at the moment. And I don't think that someone who claimed in 2000 that there was no real difference between Al Gore and Dubya really has a clear perspective on reality.
Anyway.. those are my thoughts.. :)
I gotta go run around now doing stuff for teaching tomorrow!

Most likely I will vote for Obama in the end but quite honestly, I hate politics and I don't think anyone could match my ideals so it doesn't much matter. It will be the lesser of two evils because there is never going to be anyone in politics who thinks like I do....that's why I'm in the medical field. You have to care about people to work in the medical field, you have to care about yourself to be a politician.
