The much bearable brightness of B

I've been falling in love with all things B.

Last week, after inevitably acting like a rabid groupie over a certain Englishman [ http://www.rediff.com/movies/2005/feb/08sting.htm ] back in Delhi very briefly, I was assigned to a rather peculiar destination.

I had to cover proceedings on film sets, but far from Bombay.

In the cold, over just three days, I was introduced to the most stunning country I've ever seen. Pictures, my eager friends, will certainly follow, if only you are kind enough to suggest reliable online album hosts.

Bhutan, lasses and gents, is incredible! Go there. There will be more detailing, after I've gotten over all the overwhelming.

Also, after spending considerable time in monasteries (and losing awfully to 8-year old monks at impromptu dart games!), I'm really quite obsessively fascinated by Buddhism. I kid you not, I will follow up on my intended reading list. Any recommendations?

Finally, I went to a friend's wedding last night, and, seized by a mad impulse in the afternoon, bought and wore my first growed-up Bow-tie. It rocked.
