So we're talking about relative nothings, and this absolutely wonderful womanfriend of mine asks if I've seen 'Secret Window' yet.
Upon hearing that I haven't, she recommends it.
And says that Johnny Depp, in that film, reminds her a lot of me.
So, naturally, the very next day, Mr. Narcissist goes out and buys the DVD.
Then, eagerly watches the film.*

As the movie goes on, I'm, at first, bewildered. Then, very impressed. Lurking deep below the surface of the character, [who, incidentally, happens to be a writer with extremely messy long hair], there were a few clearly demarcated nuances which are very intimately, incredibly me.
Now, the lovely lady making the aforementioned comment is a very good friend, but I was really stunned at her knowing me that well.
The next day, while we converse, I express my awed admiration at her intuitiveness.
She laughs.

"Raja, I only said that because of his spectacle frames."
Ha. Ha. Ha.

* = A 4/ten film elevated to a high 5 or maybe a low 6 purely because of the fabulous Depp. Relatively watchable, and a couple of brilliant camera shots making everything worthwhile.
